About us
The primary objective of the Hammersmith & Fulham foodbank is the prevention or relief of poverty in and around the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. In particular, but not exclusively by 1) the provision of of emergency food parcels to individuals in need and/or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty; 2) providing practical advice and support to individuals, either directly or by referral to approved partner agencies; thereby enabling them to find lasting relief from financial hardship.
As well as offering emergency food parcels, we provide a range of wraparound support services, helping people cope with their fuel bills, providing a crisis fund to access items needed to cook, eat or help alleviate their crisis, access to counselling, fresh fruit and veg vouchers via the Alexandra Rose scheme, energy efficiency support from Green Doctors and professional advice from Citizen's Advice workers, based in our Foodbank Centres.
