LITTLE FACT: Powdered custard was invented in 1937 by a chemist named Alfred Bird (who incidentally also invented baking powder, so we are much obliged to him.) His wife loved custard but was allergic to eggs. This led to the invention of the well-known Bird’s custard powder.

There is nothing like a warm comforting pudding, particularly during the colder months. We do not generally provide puddings to our clients and will only do so if we happen to have donated puddings in stock. Therefore, it would be a lovely Christmas gesture if we could provide a little treat to those struggling over this time.
